Gateway Galaxy Star Trail
Cherry Springs State Park is a famous dark sky park, which makes it a perfect place for observatories and for new astrophotographers like me to take pictures of stars, planets, and galaxies. After I set up my camera and tripod, I sat in my camp chair in silence and stared up at a bright sky for hours while my camera captured long exposure photos of the stars as they traced their path through the sky.

I shot this photo on my Canon RP with a 24-70 lens. This image is printed on Moab Exhibition Luster Semigloss 300g paper and has a .5inch white border around all sides of the image.
